The Smilebox dev team is an agile development team. Every developer is well-rounded, works in all areas of the Smilebox codebase, and does so in a cohesive pair-programming environment.

Education & Background
- We use a lot of technologies, so an understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science is essential. If you know how a computer works, from the bottom to the top, you’ll be in great shape.
The ability to learn quickly will ensure your success. Experience helps as it is a senior team, but if you are sharp and have an internal drive for success, you’ll fit right in.
- You need to enjoy collaborating very closely with a team. Ability to fit with the team is as important as pure technical experience. After all, you’ll be spending a lot of time working together with the rest of the team.
- Skills currently employed at Smilebox include, but are not limited to:
- iOS 4/5 SDK with Cocoa Touch via XCode
- ActionScript 2/3 with Flex, FlashBuilder, Eclipse FDT etc.
- Java 5/6 with Spring & Hibernate via Eclipse
- Win32 API and WTL via Visual Studio
- ObjectiveC and Cocoa via XCode
- SQL within the PostgreSQL db
- HTML4/5 with javascript etc. in Dreamweaver or your favorite tool
- Perl, Python, Ruby and whatever else helps get the job done
