Marketing – International Digital Marketing Manager (Redmond, Washington)

Smilebox is looking for a driven and effective International Digital Marketing Manager to lead Smilebox international customer acquisition efforts across Google, Facebook and Affiliates search channels.

We are looking for a marketing manager that has a strong understanding of the mom demographic internationally and can translate that into effective advertising strategies and campaigns; experienced international internet marketer, a real team player who is strong analytically and has a good eye for matching strong creative to generate awareness and induce trial; loves technology, social networking, always learning and work well in a collaborative, dynamic, fast and growing global organization.

Scope & Responsibilities

  • Build, implement and lead Smilebox international strategy on brand, on time, on budget;
  • Drive and optimize all channels for international customer acquisition plans, strategies and tactics;
  • Lead bi-weekly international meetings to fine tune strategy, identify threats and opportunities, report content producers issues and blockers;
  • Compile and communicate daily and weekly dashboard with performance update and insights;
  • Optimize Google AdWords accounts on a daily basis and manage implementation for all international PPC campaigns;
  • Connect with Google, Facebook and Affiliates reps to ensure latest tools and best practices are being utilized;
  • Identify market opportunities and test new channels.

Cross-functional collaborations involved:

  • Coordinate international content producers to drive optimization efforts, write ads copy and manage implementation for all campaigns;
  • Work with our creative director and design team to roll in new branding image and develop international content and creative display ads for all campaigns;
  • Work with our program management and development teams to set and implement service requirements to optimize your efforts;

Education & Background

  • 3-5 years of digital marketing experience – SEM, Facebook or SEO
  • Deep international background developed in different countries
  • Successful track record for managing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns
  • Familiarity with landing page tools and general software development processes helpful
  • Solid working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Master degree required
