Smilebox, is looking for a Producer for its Smilebox photo designs. The Producer will manage the Smilebox designs as they move from concept to final product working closely with our in-house design team, the Creative Director and Merchandising Manager.
Scope & Responsibilities
- Collaborates with Merchandising Manager and Creative Director to develop quarterly content plans.
- Partners with Creative Director to manage design and production assignments.
- Works with design team and QA to optimize and track movement of all designs through the studio against defined plan (from kick off to final hand-off).
- Develops tools and processes to improve the efficiency and reliability of the design production process.
- Serves as a member of the weekly content ship team in ensuring that designs are released on time and at high quality.
- Works with Merchandising Manager on weekly merchandising plans, design reviews and forward planning
Education & Background
- 5+ years working as a producer or project manager.
- Skill working with online graphic content is desirable, but primarily, someone conversant in managing and optimizing an operations organization.
- Cross-functional team experience – must be comfortable acting as a liaison between many different groups, including upper management.
- Some experience working either with photo sharing, online graphic content or the Smilebox demographic – primarily women, in the 35 to 55 age range.
- Experience working with motion graphics is a plus.
